remember remember the 29th of April

Today documents the 1 year mark of me joining the workforce

And in future I'll have great stories to share with my descendants as I have experienced the world's most unprecedented event. Hell, I'm right smack in the middle of it all.

I have experienced the greatest.......... the greatest credit crunch and have also experienced my first ever binge......... a global liquidity binge.

PS @ Palais again.....

the view outside never fail to mesmerise me

alfresco dining can be a pain if the weather is hot and humid...
unfortunately, that was the case that day

P.S. I think i'm in love with the restaurant

the heat and hunmidity was too unbearable outside
hence, moved to the air-conditioned, slightly less scenic indoors

the indoors i would say is a different kind of scenic..

artificial to the point of being pretentious maybe?

leftover shoestring fries drizzled with truffle oil and sprinkled with parmesan cheese

yummylicious!

lazy ps afternoon with the gals

pam vigorously flipping through magazines

PS frites is a must-order!

absolutely love the high ceilings which makes this place so colonial

outdoor dining on a really cool & cloudy day

we spent the afternoon flipping through mags, discussing who's hot/not

randomly taking photos of mundane nothings

and sipping a cuppa.......

dipping fries into the lovely thai mayo sauce and me dabbing off the oil from the fries

basking in the afternoon sun
